Basically, anime is Japan's movies. They have features for the young kids, adolescents, and they also have features for the adults, which contain all the sex of their American live-action counterparts. Japanese culture does not have a lot of the censorship concerns that US lawmakers do. AnimEigo, for example, will not put out anything with more than an R rating, which is mild compared to some other companies, which have put out features such as: "Legend of the Overfiend", containing a great deal of explicit violence and sexual content.
